Most appointments run between 4 and 8 hours depending on the tier selected and the condition of your paint. Vehicles that need more extensive paint correction before coating will take longer. Julian will give you an accurate time estimate during your quote so you can plan your day.
A properly applied and maintained ceramic coating lasts anywhere from 2 to 5-plus years depending on the product tier, the environment the vehicle is exposed to, and how the vehicle is maintained. Arizona UV and heat are hard on coatings, which is why proper prep and a quality product matter more here than in most markets.
Ceramic coating dramatically reduces the effort required to keep your car clean, but it does not eliminate maintenance entirely. You should wash the vehicle every 2 to 4 weeks using a pH-neutral soap, avoid automatic car washes with harsh brushes, and do not apply wax or sealant on top of the coating. Julian provides written care instructions after every appointment.
Warranty terms vary by tier and product used. This will be clearly outlined during your quote so you know exactly what is covered and for how long before you commit to anything.
Wax lasts 4 to 8 weeks. A paint sealant might last 6 months. Ceramic coating bonds chemically to your clear coat and lasts years. It also provides significantly harder surface protection, better UV resistance, and stronger hydrophobic performance than either alternative. For a vehicle that lives outside in Surprise or anywhere in the West Valley, there is no comparison.
Desert Best Mobile Detailing is fully self-contained. Julian brings everything needed to complete the job including water and power. A shaded area to work in is helpful but not always required. If you have a garage or a shaded driveway, that is ideal for the coating application stage.
You can typically drive the vehicle the same day, but there is a full cure period of 5 to 7 days during which the vehicle should not get wet, be exposed to heavy dust, or be washed. The coating continues hardening over the first 30 days as it fully cures.
